​     Registration is now open for students wishing to attend the GLIC 2025 Fall Seminar/ Shinsa (GFSS).

SEMINAR SCHEDULE:

Friday, Oct. 3rd:
Doors open at 8:30am;  9:00am - 4:30pm Seminar (with 1hr lunch break)

​

Saturday, Oct. 4th:  
Doors open at 8:30am;  9:00am - 4:30pm Seminar (with 1hr lunch break, Shinsa in the morning)

​

Sunday, Oct. 5th: 

There will be a TWO Iaido Session Sunday morning::

  • Kodansha Class (4 Dan and up): Taught by Sekreta Sensei

  • Non-Kodansha Practice (3 Dan and below): Moderated by a Kodansha Sensei as a floor manager

  •  

Sunday Practice - Location:
  • Pinnacle Athletic Campus at 7600 Pinnacle Drive, Victor, NY 14564.

  • For reference, this is about 20-25 minutes by car from the Pieters Family Life Center.
    Times:

  • Doors open at 8:30a, Class from 9:00a-1:00a

  • This is a large indoor athletic facility located on Pinnacle Drive, which is located off of Phillips Road.

  • The practice space is the "BasketBall Court" located on the first floor.

  • ​


Please use the check boxes on the registration form to let us know if you will be coming on Sunday

Note: No outside food or drinks (besides water) are permitted in the facility.


COVID SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:
The following COVID safety protocols will be followed to participate:
Fully Vaccinated individuals will be able to participate

Masks will be optional within the facilities during the seminar.

 

LUNCH AND REFRESHMENTS:
Bottled water/tea will be available and is included with the seminar fee.
Lunch & snacks (Both Days) are included in the seminar fee and will be provided


GLIC CELEBRATION DINNER:
Friday, October 4th:
There will be GLIC Celebration Dinner after Friday seminar. Dinner is extra and not included with the seminar fee.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 2: AUSKF NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
  8:00am: Doors open, Registration, & Sword Check
  8:45am: Line up
  9:00am: Opening Ceremony
  9:30am: Enbu
  10:00am: Taikai Begins
  1:00pm: Lunch
  1:30pm: Taikai Resumes
  4:00pm: Finals
  4:45pm: Closing Ceremony

  8am Doors open, Registration and Sword Check

  9am-12pm Shinsa up to 7th Dan, Shogo up to Kyoshi
